Cello-Masterclasses 2012

The application period is completed and all candidates will be notified until 15 March by e-mail about their participation!

The Selection process:

The tutors have all CVs and video recordings and decide now who is allowed to participate actively. On 15 March we will notify all applicants by mail about the status of their application.

Active participation:
If you are admitted as active participant an additional 230 € course fee will be charged.

Passive participation:
Since there are more applications than places for the active participation the tutors have to select among the applicants. All applicants who have no place in the master classes are automatically admitted as a passive participant.

Participation fee includes the following:

  • Complimentary private accommodation (only active participants)
  • 3 hours of tuition by teacher of choice with répétiteur (only active participants)
  • 2 concert opportunities for students, one with symphonic orchestra (only active participants)
  • Daily lunch
  • Listening in on all courses of the academy
  • Attendance to all concerts

If you are not accepted as active participant and don't want to be in Rutesheim as passive participant an administration fee of 40 € will be charged.

All active participants must attend the entire week. The lesson plans are binding and can be changed only in exceptional cases.
Late arrival or early departure is possible only in exceptional cases and in consultation with the student office.
