Welcome to The CELLO AKADEMIE RUTESHEIM

The Cello Akademie Rutesheim is an annually held cello-festival with concerts and courses for violoncello. The program includes classical  masterc lasses for students from around the world, a jazz-masterclass for strings, audition training and a course for cello orchestra. In addition, there is a music fair and evening concerts.

All courses, workshops and concerts are open to the public! We are looking forward to your visit!

No Cello Academy Rutesheim 2020

ALTERNATIVE SCENARIOS FOR THE AUTUMN ARE STILL CONCEIVABLE.
ONE THING IS CERTAIN: WE WILL MEET AGAIN - FROM 31 OCTOBER TO 6 NOVEMBER 2021

Dear friends of the Cello Akademie Rutesheim,

it hurts, but this year the Cello Academy has to be cancelled. It is our greatest strengths that force us to make this decision – our internationality and our much-vaunted personal atmosphere.

First, participants come from all over the world. Therefore, the selection must be completed very early, flights must be booked and host parents must be found. Secondly, even loosened distance rules would make it impossible for the Rutesheimer Akademie to live in a family atmosphere.

But we already have our sights set on the Cello Academy 2021.

In the meantime, we're motivating ourselves with more and more "Cello Online" on YouTube : indulge in over 100 live videos with concert highlights from past years!

One more hope remains:

Should the restrictions be eased unexpectedly quickly, a slimmed-down concert and master class program in the fall vacation of 2020 would still be conceivable. We will keep you up to date. Stay tuned to us!
