Concert overview 2025
The concerts of the Cello Academie Rutesheim are very special concerts. The soloists include the tutors of the masterclasses, all of them internationally renowned artists. Selected students introduce themselves in several concerts. Students travel from all over the world to attend the master classes in Rutesheim, and it is not uncommon for current or future prizewinners of prestigious international competitions to be among them.
We intentionally offer concert experiences that are only possible within the framework of a festival – from intimate chamber music evenings to orchestral concerts with a symphony orchestra and grandly arranged cello orchestras. Our concerts are audiovisual performances in which music and light effects are experienced as a unity.
In 2025, the multipurpose hall Bühl 2 will once again be transformed into an atmospheric concert venue, featuring a stage, many light effects, and a grandstand with ascending seating at the back of the hall.
Thanks to large LED screens, even audience members in the back rows can be close to the action and see the details of the soloists.
Look forward to two outstanding orchestral concerts with the Württembergische Philharmonie Reutlingen under the baton of Alexander Mayer! One evening will showcase the talents of the tutors of the master classes, and another will feature the talented students.
